In fact, this hood model is a type of hybrid between the regular under-cabinet hood and the built-in hood. AVK-306CS could simply be called semi-recessed. It uses less external space than a regular under-cabinet hood and covers a larger cooking area than the regular built-in hood.
The AVK-306CS offers 600 CFM of power, which is more than many under-cabinet hoods on the market. It comes, like all AVG hoods, with baffle filters for gas cooking, and reinforced mesh filters that are perfect for radiant and induction cooking. In addition, the Kentucky is the perfect replacement hood, as it features three types of outlets:
- rear: rectangular outlet
- top: rectangular and 6" round outlet
